We will be having a taste of what’s cooking in the pot as we walk through two beautiful towns and discover the locality with all it has to offer beyond the food itself. Accompanied by a fully licensed professional guide, you will discover the two beautiful towns of Mdina and Rabat whilst trying some of the most traditional dishes our islands offer. We start by walking through Mdina past the aristocratic palaces after having the famous pastizzi along with the local drink Kinnie. After walking past the Cathedral and seeing the view from the bastions we stroll through some very atmospheric streets into Rabat. We then walk through the narrow winding streets of Rabat to get in the centre of the town where after walking past the St Paul’s Church we stop to make ħobż biz-zejt whilst trying two local craft beers. We finish at a local restaurant trying the star of Maltese cuisine, obviously rabbit, along with which some other Maltese traditional delicacies and a glass of local red wine.
Being in a smaller group gives you the opportunity to ask all the questions whilst also easily interacting with the other members of the group.

“This was our second tour with Christian and he didn’t disappoint. There was a ton of variety for the food. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area. I’d definitely recommend this tour for people who want to know all the standard information about Mdina, plus extra about the locals and their lives. Come hungry because there is a lot of tasty food you don’t want to miss out on.”
