Our Mission
Best Tours Malta has been founded with the sole intent of creating the most professional small group tours of the main sites on the Maltese Islands whilst keeping them affordable for all to join. The tours we offer are also designed in such a way so as to leave a positive social impact on the communities we discover together. We also use a mix of small family run or medium sized businesses so as for our clients to leave the most positive footprint whilst enjoying themselves on our tours. Best Tours Malta is not just a name but our promise to offer the best tours possible on these islands.
The Man behind the Tours
What do I do besides giving tours?
– Whilst giving tours is my passion and I still enjoy every single tour even if I have been doing this for eighteen years, however, I do still make it a point to find enough time for the many hobbies I enjoy. Most prominently I have been doing voluntary work in my community with various organizations which organize big traditional events in my city but which also bring together many people from different backgrounds, hence enhancing my understanding of the Maltese communities. Beyond that I love spending time in my small countryside fields on the west coast of Malta where I cultivate some crops for family consumption or simply enjoy reading a book away from the hustle and bustle of cities.
Which is my favourite city in Malta?
– Well there is nowhere better than home so Rabat and Mdina are my favourite place on the island in all their totality as they include a beautiful historical center, great places to eat and have fun at, impressive countryside which keeps going to the very cliffs on the west coast and on top of all a tight knit community which has immense value no money can ever buy. Valletta on the other hand is one amazing city which never ceases to amaze me.
How many languages do I speak?
– Maltese is my mother tongue which I am so proud of as it is the most unique language for such a small nation, yet, I can speak English fluently for which I thank a primary school teacher who had made us speak English all through our time in school which we might not have appreciated much back then but which I now value immensely. I also speak very fluent Italian as I used to watch lots of Italian tv when I was very young whilst limitedly speaking Spanish which I am still learning as I write.
