Frequently Ask Questions

What can we help you with today?

General Tour Questions

Most of our tours meet at the Valletta City Gate or the Mdina Main Gate. For cruise liner passengers on a private tour, we offer custom pick-up directly at the Valletta Cruise Port. You will receive a Google Maps link and a photo of the meeting point in your booking confirmation.

Our signature experiences, like the Valletta Food Tour and the Mdina Walking Tour, typically last 4 hours. We ensure the pace is comfortable, allowing plenty of time for photos and questions.

Valletta and Mdina are historic cities with some uneven surfaces. While we walk at a relaxed pace, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. If you have mobility concerns, please book a Private Tour so we can customize the route to avoid stairs where possible.

Food & Dietary Requirements

Yes! We can often accommodate vegetarians and those with specific nut allergies. However, please inform us at the time of booking via the Bokun checkout form. Please note: Traditional Maltese food relies heavily on wheat, so gluten-free options may be limited at certain stops.

You will experience a mix of savory and sweet, including the famous pastizzi (flaky pea or ricotta cakes), local sourdough bread with kunserva, traditional imqaret (date-filled pastries), and local beverages.

Booking & Cancellations

All bookings are handled securely through our Bokun (Tripadvisor) engine. Simply select your date, number of guests, and pay securely via credit card. You will receive an instant mobile voucher.

We offer a 24-hour free cancellation policy. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the experience start time, you will receive a full refund.

Our tours run rain or shine! Malta’s weather can be unpredictable, but the history (and the food) is just as good in the rain. We recommend bringing an umbrella if the forecast looks grey.

Custom & Private Tours

Absolutely. We specialize in tailoring experiences for families, corporate groups, and VIPs. Please use our Contact Form or email us at besttoursmalta@gmail.com for a custom quote.
